No. Nurses attest to having completed a CCP. If you are audited in January for the previous year, you will receive an email requesting you submit your CCP. You have 30 days to submit your professional development plan. Failure to successfully complete and submit the requested CCP could result in denial of reinstatement/renewal and a formal complaint may be referred to the Professional Conduct Committee. 

Yes, all nurses who hold practicing registration – even if they are not working – must meet these annual requirements.
